6/13/2016 0 Comments HUNGER PROJECTI think hunger is an awful thing. Some people don't eat for days. Think about how much food goes to waste here. For this piece I wanted to express how many people get food. I starting by displaying this picture on the board and drawing it on my canvas. hen i went over the hands in sharpie and added paint. Finally i glued to wood to the top and added the quote3/21/2016 0 Comments ART HISTORYFor this project we uploaded keynotes about a artist who caught out interest and did our own art works about them. During this period i was very sick and did not create my own artwork
3/21/2016 1 Comment ONE POINT PERSPECTIVEOne point perspective is when your drawing contains only one vanishing point on the horizon line. For my one point perspective drawing I wanted to do a railroad because I like the way they look coming to the center. Some of my troubles were the buildings but after i got the hang of it I really like this style i chose. After i finished drawing I wanted to add little more with the colors of the rainbow on the railorads an d then decided to make the whole thing colorful. I like the way this came out a lot
1/5/2016 0 Comments Slab Pottery ConstructionFor this project it took many steps. It was hard because not a lot of people had ever used clay so when we all first got our slabs i think it became instantly a weird texture. First we had to mold our clay and then put it in the kiln so it turned into greenware. After that we glazed our works of art so we could make them Bisque wear and then they were ready again. I think this project was hard because it was the first time we had done this. The process became easier as we went on because the texture and the Elasticity got more known. 12/15/2015 0 Comments self portraitmy favorite part of this project was seeing how my drawing came together. If i were to change anything i would change the picture i would use because i feel like if i used a straighter picture it might have came out better. during this i learned how to stay calm and re work the art. I also learned the importance of shading. To create this art work i started off with the face and the outline and the slowly started to shade and work in all of the details.
Creating this piece was hard because i had never done anything like this before so when cutting into this is was confused and scared because i though i was going to mess up. i think my piece was good but it could have came out better if i maybe planed things out more
11/5/2015 0 Comments Water ColorI personally really liked this project because it was a lot of creating you're own work and you could kind of do what you want because it gives you many choices with the color and creating the thing pm top 11/5/2015 0 Comments Two Hands InteractingFor my hands I knew that I want to something with a ribbon and with my volleyball team we had just started working on our Volleyball For A Cure and i thought that the breast cancer ribbon would work really well. I used a lot of the same ideas as i did for the first hand drawings we did and also added some color to make the ribbon pop. My favorite part was how the hands turns out all together and my least favorite was getting my drawing from the sheet to the paper |
