10/5/2015 0 Comments Shaded Hand The simple grid helps because you can use it as a guide to see where to transfer the hand to the paper. To make this 3D you first had to close one eye to be able to see it. You then had to see where the light was coming from and use shading to make the shadows appear real.

It becomes hard to transfer 3D into 2D artwork because sometimes you have to look at what you are drawing in a different way because you can't draw in 3D. The picture plan is smiley a flat 2D surface.10/5/2015 0 Comments Bling hand contourBlind contour is so important because you have to learn how to draw what you see and not the perception of what the thing is. My drawings did not look good at all but that was a good thing. I feel as this tough me a lot about drawing what I sawUpside drawing appears to be easier because you can you can take it line to agencent line compared to seeing and trying to draw something that you think you can't draw. My experience drawing this was a lot better then i thought it was going to come out. I was surprised when i found out that it came out a lot better then i assumed it would have. For this drawing i used more of the line over line over line but then at the end i went it over all again with a darker pencilThe characteristics of the R-mode is Visual/perceptual, Holistic, Non-linear, and intuitive. The ones of the L-mode are Language/verbal, Sequential/step-by-step, Numbers/ symbols and Analytic. The R-mode is wanted during art because you can focus on more of art and its more like doing things your self and analyzing you're work . My experience is that it was easier to do when it was not talking in the classroom and when you could just focus and work on what you needed to10/2/2015 0 Comments IntroductionMy favorite part of this project was when I finally put my work on a piece of paper and saw that it came out better then expected. My least favorite part of this project was when we had to transfer our paper drawings to the blocks because I was scared that I was going to mess up. If i were to do this again i might chose a drawing that wasn't so detailed so it might come out better. When creating this artwork I learned about how to use carving tools and ink with the rollers. To do this process we had to carve the linoleum block with the U and V shaped tools then we used the brayer and the ink to make our final print. Overall I was happy with the way it came out
